Attribute to Point

Instructions

Create a point dataset based on the X and Y coordinates specified with the fields in an attribute table.

Basic Steps

1. In the Data Processing group on the Data tab, click the Conversion dropdown arrow and select Attribute to Point.
2. In the Attribute to Point dialog box that shows up, specify the text dataset to be converted, the target dataset name and set a datasource for saving the result dataset.
3. Specify the X field and Y field which be used for the values of x coordinate and y coordinate of generated points.
4. Click “Convert” to complete the operation.
